Brief Report of the Event (in about 200 words)

Hearty congratulations to the students of AIMS for winning the First Prize at the Inter-College Cricket Tournament hosted by Sri Siddaganga Medical College and Research Institute, held from 10th to 12th January 2026 💐💐

The students of Adichunchanagiri Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS) emerged as Champions, displaying excellent sportsmanship and competitive spirit. The AIMS Cricket Team won three league matches and secured decisive victories in the Semi-Final and Final, in a highly competitive tournament involving several medical colleges.

Outstanding individual performances contributed to the team’s success. Mr. Aditya S, Mr. Ganesh Nilajkar, Mr. Darshan D.S., and Mr. Pooraj Gowda were awarded Man of the Match in the league matches. In the Final, Mr. Arun Pawar was declared Man of the Match and also received the Best Batsman of the Tournament award. Mr. Gourav V was recognised for bowling the maximum number of dot balls and for his performance in the super over of the final match.

The Management, Principal, faculty, and staff of AIMS congratulate the entire cricket team for this commendable achievement and for bringing laurels to the institution through their dedication, teamwork, and sporting excellence.
