Faculty serves as resource-person in two pre-conference workshops - Adichunchanagiri Institute of Medical Sciences

Dr. Vijay Shankar S, Professor of Pathology, AIMS, participated in APCON 2025, the 73rd Annual Conference of IAPM held at Government Medical College, Jammu, from 3rd to 7th December 2025. He represented the institution and the Karnataka State Chapter in multiple academic and organizational roles.

Dr. Vijay Shankar served as faculty in two pre-conference workshops:

1. EPA Navigator – delivering the session “Anatomy of a Good EPA – Breaking Down a Full EPA Description and Why Each Piece Matters.”

2. Manuscript Writing and Peer Reviewing – delivering the session “Visuals in Publication.”

He also participated in the IAP-ID (International Academy of Pathology – Indian Division) academic program on 4th December.

During the main conference (5th–7th December), he attended the IAPM Executive Committee Meeting as President, Karnataka Chapter, served as Judge for scientific poster presentations, and was designated Quiz Master for the Postgraduate Pathology Quiz, which was conducted online due to national flight disruptions.

In his role as Social Media Editor of IJPM, he participated in the National Editorial Board Meeting and contributed to journal visibility and strategic discussions.

Through these diverse academic, editorial, and leadership roles, Dr. Vijay Shankar made notable contributions to APCON 2025, enhancing the national presence of AIMS, Adichunchanagiri University, and the Karnataka Chapter of IAPM.
