Adichunchanagiri University (ACU) and Mandya Institute of Medical Sciences (MIMS) jointly hosted the highly successful 41st Annual Conference of the Association of Physicians of India – Karnataka Chapter from 26th to 28th July at MIMS Auditorium. This landmark event brought together over 1200 medical professionals from across the state for a dynamic exchange of knowledge and best practices.
The event was inaugurated by Poojya Sri Sri Prasannanatha Swamiji, General Secretary, Sri Adichunchanagiri Mahasamsthana Math and delivered Ashirvachana. Dr. K M Shivakumar, Chief of Hospital, Adichunchanagiri Hospital & Research Centre, BG Nagara extended a heartfelt welcome to all the delegates. Dr. M G Shivaramu, Dean, Health Sciences (Medical), Adichunchanagiri University & Principal, Adichunchanagiri Institute of Medical Sciences spoke about the remarkable contributions of ACU and shared a special message from The Honourable Chancellor, ACU His Holiness Jagadguru Sri Sri Sri Dr. Nirmalanandanatha Mahaswamiji. Dr. M.A. Shekar, Honourable Vice Chancellor of Adichunchanagiri University, delivered the esteemed Guest Address, providing valuable insights and perspectives on the field of medicine.
The conference featured a plethora of activities, including paper presentations, poster presentations, seminars, workshops, and quizzes. Talented students from AIMS-ACU and MIMS showcased stunning cultural performances, adding a vibrant touch to the event. Dr. Narsimhulu, Dr. Jyotirmoy Pal, Dr. B.V. Murali Mohan, Dr. Govinda Babu, Dr. Prasanna Kumar A.M., Dr. Narasimha Swamy P. and many other delegates were present.
