National-level UG academic fest

Students attend “CEREBRATHON-2026,” a National-level UG academic fest held at Karnataka Medical College and Research Institute, Hubballi

Two teams consisting of a total of 9 students from Phase-III (Part-I) CBME 2023–24 batch of Adichunchanagiri Institute of Medical Sciences participated in a National-level academic event titled “CEREBRATHON”, held at Karnataka Medical College and Research Institute (KMCRI), Hubballi, from 8th to 10th January 2026.

The students actively participated in multiple clinical workshops and attended case presentation sessions, overall focusing on enhancing clinical decision-making, analytical reasoning, and evidence-based medical practice. The event provided an excellent academic platform for undergraduate medical students to interact with peers from various institutions and gain exposure to national-level academic standards.

The workshops were conducted by experienced faculty and emphasized case-based learning, systematic clinical approach, and practical application of theoretical knowledge. The sessions encouraged active participation and collaborative learning, contributing to improved clinical understanding and confidence among the students.

*Outcome of the Event:*

The participating students gained valuable insights into clinical reasoning, teamwork, communication skills, and problem-solving approaches. The exposure positively contributed to their academic and professional development and motivated them towards continuous learning and excellence in clinical practice.
