Dr. Amita K, Professor, and Dr. Rajini T, Associate Professor, from Adichunchanagiri Institute of Medical Sciences, actively participated in the Medical Yatra 2026, organised by the AIPNO Foundation in association with the Rotary Club, at Indore, Madhya Pradesh -a Cervical Cancer Awareness and Screening Program  from 19th to 22nd January 2026. The program aimed at promoting awareness regarding cervical cancer, encouraging early detection, and strengthening preventive healthcare services among women.
 
The faculty contributed significantly to the screening activities and also presented their research work, adding academic value to the Medical Yatra and aligning with the research oriented objectives of AIMS, ACU. 
 
The cervical cancer awareness and screening program served as a meaningful public health initiative, reinforcing the commitment of Adichunchanagiri Institute of Medical Sciences towards community medicine, women’s health, and social responsibility. 
 
Participation in the AIPNO-led Medical Yatra 2026 highlights the institution’s dedication to integrating academic excellence with community outreach and preventive healthcare services.
