Ms. Sandhya Krishnakumar, a Phase III MBBS student from Adichunchanagiri Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS), won the Best Paper Presentation Award in the Undergraduate Category at *Foryensicon 2025, a National-level Forensic Medicine and Toxicology Conference* held at Yenepoya Medical College on 1st August 2025. She presented a case study titled “Fatal Proximity – A Case of Multiple Injuries from a Single Gunshot” under the guidance of Dr. Chinmayi Yelauri, Department of Forensic Medicine, AIMS.
In addition, two other students from AIMS actively participated in the conference:
• Ms. Sanjana S Iyer presented a case study titled “Carbon Monoxide’s Fatal Embrace.”
• Mr. Ganesh PN presented a case study titled “Unveiling the Depths – Forensic Analysis of Skeletal Remains.”
Their participation highlights the academic engagement and research contributions of AIMS students in the field of forensic medicine at a national platform.
