The *Faculty Development Workshop* on “ *Objective Structured Assessment in Medical Education: Principles and Practices”* was successfully conducted on *26th and 27th March 2025* at the Medical Education Unit (MEU) Hall, Adichunchanagiri Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS), B G Nagara. The workshop, organized by the Medical Education Unit (MEU), AIMS, aimed to enhance the faculty’s knowledge and skills in designing, implementing, and evaluating Objective Structured Practical Examination (OSPE) and Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) effectively. *Dr. Ashwini C.A., Professor and Head, Department of Anatomy, Ramaiah Medical College, Bangalore (NMC Regional Center for Faculty Development), Dr. Suman G., Professor, Department of Community Medicine, Ramaiah Medical College, Bangalore, and Dr. Tejaswi H L, Professor and Head, Department of Anatomy, AIMS,* served as resource faculty, contributing their extensive expertise in medical education and assessment methodologies.
The workshop featured a blend of interactive lectures, hands-on training, and group discussions focusing on blueprinting, checklist development, and station standardization. Forty faculty members from various disciplines actively participated and developed sample OSPE/OSCE stations relevant to their fields. The workshop concluded with a peer review of the designed stations and feedback on the evaluation process. Participants highly appreciated the practical insights gained and expressed interest in attending similar workshops to refine their skills further. The success of the workshop was made possible by the dedicated efforts of the Medical Education Unit (MEU) and the continued support of the institutional leadership of AIMS.
