Brief report of the event (in about 200 words)

On 8TH December 2024, CME on Recent Advances in Anaesthesia was organized by the Department of Anaesthesiology, CIMS, Chamraj Nagar in association with Indian Society of Anaesthesiology, Mysuru branch.

Dr. Chethanananda T. N, Professor & HOD, Department of Anaesthesiology chaired a session on the topic “Peri-operative Ventilator Strategy”.

Guest speakers, all experts in the field of Anaesthesia, imparted the Knowledge of delivering safe anaesthesia to a wide variety of procedures. Sessions were in the form of informative & interactive lectures. Guest speakers delivered lectures on Perioperative Hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator strategy, intraoperative fluid Management. Rheumatic Heart disease, TIVA were also been discussed.

In Total 75 delegates attended this CME satisfactorily. And the programme was in compliance with sustainable developmental goal no. 3, 4, 9, 17.

Feedback Analysis (brief)

The feedback from the CME was highly positive. Participants expressed satisfaction with the informative sessions, especially the practical case discussions and slide demonstrations. The interactive nature of the event was appreciated, with many attendees highlighting the opportunity to enhance their diagnostic skills. Overall, the CME was considered beneficial for both learning and professional development.
