Global Handwashing Day

Department of Community Medicine in association with NSS AIMS unit and Pattana panchayati Belluru celebrated Global Handwashing Day on 16th  October 2023 at CHC Belluru and  Market road Belluru . 
On this occasion an  awareness  campaign was conducted at market road Bellur.

Local  vendors , shopkeepers  and the public were addressed, and briefed them about importance of Hand wash &  hygiene along with demonstration of  Hand Washing steps.
Street play & skit  about prevention and control of common communicable diseases .
 
Soaps and hand sensitizers were distributed to the community to serve as a platform for educating people on hand wash.
All faculty members were present in the program
