“Synopsis/Dissertation Protocol Writing Workshop” Day – 1

Scientific Committee, AIMS, Organized a two day “Synopsis/Dissertation Protocol Writing Workshop” on 16th and 17th March 2023.

Objectives of the workshop is to train the postgraduates in acquisition of skills for writing an effective synopsis for the dissertation.

The program began with an energetic talk on “How to frame research hypothesis and Research Question” by Dr MA Shekar,Honerable Vice Chancellor, Adichunchanagiri university.

Inauguration program, invocation song was sung by Dr Arti, Tutor, Department of Pathology and the dignitaries and members of scientific committee lighted the lamp.

An encouraging presidential address delivered by Dr MG Shivaramu, Principal AIMS, Dean, Health Sciences (Medical), ACU.

A session on “How to write review of literature” by Dr Dhanalakshmi TA, Professor,Department of Microbiology.

“How to write Introduction” and “How to frame objectives” by Dr Amita K, Professor, Department of Pathology and Dr Tejaswi HL, Professor and HOD, Department of Anatomy.

Afternoon session included session of “Types of data, Variables and Variability” By Dr Radha R, Professor and HOD, Department of Community Medicine and Dr Raghavendra SK Associate Professor, Department of Community Medicine.

Dr MA Shekar, Honerable Vice Chancellor, ACU, engaged the session on “Study Design”.

77 postgraduates of 2022 batch registered for the workshop and actively participated in the workshop sessions.
