Event Content

 The 9^th International Conference on Plasmodium vivax Research (ICPvR) 2025 was held from 12^th to 14^th February 2025 at Puducherry, India. Over 500 delegates from all over the globe participated in the Conference.

This conference brought together leading experts, researchers, and healthcare professionals from around the globe. The scientific sessions covered various topics on emerging Public Health infection – Plasmodium vivax. Numerous plenary discussions and poster presentations were held.

Dr. Varsha .G and Dr. Kanchana N Raj,  Senior resident and Post-graduate student from  Dept. of Community medicine, AIMS, BG Nagara actively  attended the conference. We interacted with Shri Padmashri awardee Dr. Chetan Chitnis,  a renown Indian scientist in the field of malaria research, Head of the Malaria Parasite Biology and Vaccines Unit at the Institut Pasteur in Paris 

These academic participations reflect the commitment to excellence and academic progression of faculty members bringing further distinction to our institution.
