AMBKCCON: Report on Preconference Workshop at AMBKCCON 2024

The pre-conference workshop formed a pivotal component of the 9th State Level Conference of the Karnataka Chapter of the Association of Medical Biochemists (AMBKCCON 2024), organized under the auspices of the Association of Medical Biochemists of India. Held at the Digital Library of Adichunchanagiri Institute of Medical Sciences, Adichunchanagiri University, B G Nagara on July 10th, 2024, the workshop aimed to elevate the competencies of participants from various medical colleges across Karnataka.

The workshop commenced with an inaugural ceremony graced by esteemed guests including Dr. M G Shivaramu, Principal and Dean (Health Sciences) of Adichunchanagiri Institute of Medical Sciences, Dr. Aliya Nusrath, Organising Chairman and Vice-Principal of the Department of Biochemistry, and Dr. N Asharani, Organising Secretary and Professor in the Department of Biochemistry. Ms. Utpala set a reverent tone with an invocation, marking the beginning of the proceedings.

Sessions were led by esteemed speakers:

– Session 1, led by Dr. Akila Prashant and Dr. Prince Jacob, focused on the fundamentals of primer design in Biochemistry. The session provided a detailed exploration of strategies and practical applications, emphasizing critical considerations and best practices.
