The 43rd Annual Conference of the Karnataka Ophthalmic Society (KOSCON) was held from November 22 to 24, 2025, in the serene coastal town of Koteshwara, Udupi. Hosted by the Udupi District Ophthalmic Association, the conference brought together over 1,000 ophthalmologists, researchers, and healthcare professionals from across the state and beyond to exchange knowledge and advancements in the field of ophthalmology.

The conference featured a diverse range of activities, including keynote lectures, panel discussions, hands-on workshops, and scientific paper presentations. Renowned national and international speakers delivered insightful talks on cutting-edge topics such as advanced cataract surgeries, retinal innovations, and AI applications in ophthalmology. The workshops provided attendees with practical training on modern surgical techniques and diagnostic tools.

A highlight of the event was the KOSCON Oration, delivered by a distinguished expert, addressing the future of ophthalmic care in India. The trade exhibition showcased the latest ophthalmic instruments and technologies, live surgeries drawing significant interest from attendees.
