The National Constitution Day was formally observed at the Adichunchanagiri Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS) on 27th November 2024. The program was organized by the NSS AIMS Unit in collaboration with the AIMS Student Council.
 
The event was graced by distinguished dignitaries, including Dr. M.G. Shivramu, Dean & Principal, AIMS; Dr. Aliya Nusrath, Vice Principal, AIMS; Dr. Shashikiran, Professor, Department of Community Medicine, AIMS; Dr. Vijay S. Hugar, NSS Program Officer; and Dr. Kanchana N. Raj, NSS PG Representative, who also served as the anchor for the program. Their presence underscored the significance of the occasion.
 
The program commenced with an insightful address by Dr. M.G. Shivramu, who emphasized the vital role of the Constitution in shaping the nation’s identity and governance. He highlighted the importance of understanding and adhering to the duties and responsibilities as citizens of India. Following his address, he led the gathering in taking a pledge to uphold the Constitution and its principles.
 
The event concluded with the singing of the National Anthem, fostering a sense of unity and respect for the nation. Faculty members and students participated actively, reflecting their dedication to the constitutional values of justice, equality, and fraternity.

The observance of National Constitution Day promoted awareness among students and faculty about the foundational principles of the Indian Constitution. It instilled a heightened sense of civic responsibility and encouraged participants to contribute actively to the democratic ethos of the nation.
