Youth Red Cross unit

Objectives

  • Informing youth and others the roles and responsibilities of the YRC and encourage them to contribute.
  • Awareness of the care of their own health and that of others.
  • To make them understand and accept civic responsibilities and act accordingly with humanitarian concern.
  • To enable growth and development of spirit of service and sense of duty with dedication and devotion in the mind of youth.
  • To foster better friendly relationship with all, without any discrimination.
  • To conduct social and health awareness programmes.
  • To develop leadership quality among the youth

  • YRC unit of AIMS was formed in January 2019 under the leadership of Dr M G SHIVARAMU, principal, Aims.
  • Subsequently 100 students were enrolled as core group volunteers and among them 10 were selected as student management committee.

  • Conduct community reach programme and maintain expenditure
