He completed his MBBS at AIMS (RGUHS) and went on to earn his MD in Anatomy from Mysore Medical College & Research Institute (RGUHS) in 2011, securing the 3rd Rank in the University. His commitment to educational leadership is further reflected in his prestigious FAIMER Fellowship (PSGFRI, Coimbatore, 2019) and the Advance Course in Medical Education (St. John’s Medical College, NMC Nodal Centre, 2017–18) — qualifications that have shaped his pioneering approach to competency-based teaching.

Dr. Tejaswi’s leadership extends well beyond the classroom. As Coordinator of the Medical Education Unit (MEU) at AIMS since 2019, he has led the implementation of the NMC-mandated Competency-Based Medical Education (CBME) reforms and supported the institution’s accreditation and inspection readiness. He has served as Chairperson of the Board of Studies (Pre-clinical UG) at Adichunchanagiri University, as a Member of the Academic Council, and on the Board of Studies (Pre-clinical UG) at RGUHS — contributing to curriculum design and academic policy at both institutional and university levels. He also served as Adjunct Faculty in the Department of Medical Education at St. John’s Medical College, Bengaluru (NMC Nodal Centre), in 2021, contributing to faculty development nationally.

A nationally recognised pioneer in digital anatomy education, Dr. Tejaswi has extended the reach of medical education far beyond the campus.
