Dr. Shivaramu’s educational background is a testament to his dedication to the field of medicine. He earned his MBBS degree from Mysore Medical College and subsequently pursued an MD in Forensic Medicine from JN Medical College, Belgaum. These qualifications equipped him with a strong foundation in both clinical practice and the medico-legal aspects of healthcare. His leadership acumen shines through his current roles as Principal of Adichunchanagiri Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS) and Dean of Health Sciences (Medical) at Adichunchanagiri University. For over four years as Dean, he has provided dynamic leadership to the faculty, fostering excellence in research, academics, and outreach programs.

Dr. Shivaramu’s principalship at AIMS for the past thirteen years has been nothing short of transformative. His vision and strategic direction have propelled the institution to new heights. Under his guidance, AIMS secured the prestigious ranking of 11th best private medical college in India by Outlook I Care Rankings (2021).
