Rangoli Competition in celebration of International Yoga Day - Adichunchanagiri Institute of Medical Sciences

On June 13th, 2025, the Department of Pharmacology, in collaboration with the Department of Psychiatry, organized a Rangoli Competition in celebration of International Yoga Day with the theme “Yoga for One Earth, One Health”. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from seven teams comprising MBBS undergraduate students, interns, and postgraduates.

The event was coordinated by Dr. Kokila BN., Professor & Head, Department of Pharmacology, Dr.Unnikrishnan G, Ms.Tejasvini, Department of Pharmacology. The judging panel included Dr. N. Asharani, Professor & Head, Department of Biochemistry, and Dr. Varsha G., Assistant Professor, Department of Community Medicine.

First place was bagged by the 2022 MBBS batch team: Ms Disha Gupta, Ms. N. Disha, Ms. Bhoomika B. Gowda, Ms. Arya Shankar Jha, and Ms. Chinmayi Sudheer.

Second place went to the Interns: Dr. Chitra, Dr. Chandana, and Dr. Ashwin.

Third place was secured by the 2024 MBBS batch students: Ms. Sreemayi P., Ms. Sana Chawan, Ms. Nidhi Kale, Mr. Pranav Kumar, and Ms. Rashika H.D.

The winners were congratulated by Dr. M.G. Shivaramu, Principal, AIMS, and Dr. Aliya Nusrath, Vice Principal, AIMS.
