10	Objectives of the event	To interact with rural school students and motivate them towards higher education; to provide career guidance and exposure to various professional fields, particularly Medicine; to create awareness regarding healthcare professionals and their roles in serving the community; and to encourage students to develop educational and career aspirations.
11	Brief Report of the Event	A visit was arranged to Rural English School, Kyasamballi, by four 3rd-year Phase I MBBS students. The school was celebrating its Golden Jubilee. An interactive session was conducted with approximately 30 10th-standard students. The students were introduced to various medical specialties and different organ systems and their roles in community service were discussed. Case scenarios related to diarrhoea, snake bite, fracture following a fall, myopia and epistaxis were given to the students in five groups. They discussed the management and prevention of the cases and presented their views enthusiastically. A visit was also made to the nearby PHC, where the students were taken through the consultation room, pharmacy, laboratory, minor OT, labour room, immunization room and cold-chain equipment. After returning to the school, feedback was collected from the students. Three students expressed their interest in pursuing a career in Medicine.

13	Feedback Analysis (Brief)	The students actively participated in the interactive sessions and group case discussions. The activity generated interest in higher education and professional careers. Three students expressed their willingness and ambition to pursue Medicine. Overall, the response from the students was positive and enthusiastic.
14	Outcome	The programme provided rural students with exposure to higher education, medical careers and healthcare services. It encouraged active learning, improved awareness regarding disease prevention and management, and motivated students to consider pursuing professional education, particularly Medicine.
