National Assessment & Accreditation Council (NAAC) - Adichunchanagiri Institute of Medical Sciences

Scope

To prepare the institute for the NAAC Accreditation process and work towards the NAAC accreditation of Adichunchanagiri University along with IQAC – AIMS

Objectives

To create awareness among teaching, nonteaching faculty members, students, their parents and all stakeholders of the Institution regarding NAAC accreditation process.
To have provision for continual improvement in Institutional Vision, Mission and Objectives.
To identify, analyze and compile the documents required for Institutional NAAC assessment.
To ensure all the departments are actively involved for the preparation of Departmental Evaluative Report and Institutional Self Study Report.
To sensitize all department heads to act as facilitators in their respective departments for NAAC assessment.

Functions

To conduct NAAC meetings periodically with core committee, steering committee members and with faculty of different cadres.
To facilitate all the departments with process of documentation required for accreditation
To conduct internal audit periodically with respect to NAAC accreditation.
To organize training programme to committee members regarding NAAC accreditation process.
To organize orientation/ sensitization programmes to staff, parents and other stake holders regarding NAAC accreditation process
To prepare the Self Study Report as a requirement of NAAC Accreditation process
To monitor the uploading of the relevant NAAC data in the college website prior to IIQA
To work towards the NAAC Accreditation of ACU
