International Pathology Day is an initiative of Royal college of Pathologists UK and been celebrated to creates awareness about the importance of pathology in healthcare system. It is celebrated on the 2nd Wednesday of November every year.
 
Dr Vijay Shankar S, Prof & Head, Dept of Pathology, AIMS, spoke on importance of Pathology and its contribution to health care delivery.
 
To mark the celebration of International Pathology Day, #PathRangoli, an unique rangoli competition was held on 9th November 2022. 8 teams participated in the event. A wide range of illustrations, art forms depicting the theme “Pathology Vignettes” was done by the undergraduate and postgraduate students
 
The event was organised under the guidance of Dr M G Shivaramu, Dean, Health Sciences (Medical), ACU, Principal, AIMS, B G Nagar
 
Dr Sudhir GK, Prof & Head, Dept of Physiology, Dr Vinay HR Associate Proof, Dept of Psychiatry and Dr Asharani SK, Associate Prof , dept of Anatomy were the judges.
