WORLD SCHIZOPHRENIA DAY 2023
Theme: Celebrating the power of community kindness.
 
      Department of Psychiatry in collaboration with Department of Clinical Psychology, AIMS, B.G. Nagara, observed “World schizophrenia day” on 24th May 2023.
 
The program included:
• Brief Talk on “Schizophrenia” by Dr.Shivakumar.B.K, Professor and HOD, Department of Psychiatry.
 
• Poster presentation by II year MBBS students.
 
• Skit by interns to create a public awareness regarding schizophrenia.
 
• Distribution of schizophrenia awareness pamphlet to the public.
 
The program was attended by Psychiatry and Clinical Psychology faculty, Psychiatric Social Workers, MBBS students, Medical and Pharm D interns, hospital staff and public. The event was organised under the guidance of Dr M G Shivaramu, Dean, Health Sciences (Medical), ACU, Principal, AIMS.
