Brief Report of the Event

The Department of Child Health Nursing, Adichunchanagiri College of Nursing in association with Department of Paediatrics AH & RC, B.G Nagara, organized a “Workshop on Paediatrics Basic Life Support “on   10-06-2026 & 17-06-2026 at 11:00 AM in the Skill and Simulation Center ACU.

 The programme is aimed that Paediatrics Basic Life Support usually refers to emergency care for infants and children who are critically ill or injured. It focuses on recognizing and treating respiratory failure, shock, and cardiac arrest in children. The session was conducted at Skill and Simulation Center conducted by Dr. Nanda Kumar & Team. During the session brief introduction was given about PLS, Equipment’s used in PLS & explained regarding the steps of PBLS, each step explained in details along with the demonstration was done. Further, scenario based redemonstration

Feedback Analysis (Brief)

 

     The feedback received from the participants was positive. Students found the Paediatrics Basic Life Support (PBLS) Workshop informative, interactive, and helpful in improving their knowledge and practical skills in managing paediatric emergencies. The hands – on demonstrations and scenario- based training enhanced their confidence in performing PBLS procedures effectively. Overall, the session was appreciated for its practical learning experience and clear explanation of paediatrics basic life  support techniques.
