“National Course on Educational Science for Teachers of Health Professionals” organized by Dept of Medical Education (National Teacher Training Center, NTTC), NMC Regional Centre for Faculty Development Programmes, JIPMER, Puducherry from 20th Feb to 25th Feb 2023

Objectives of the course was to sensitise the teachers of health care professionals to:

1. Apply the principles of Educational Science as applicable to the training of undergraduates,

especially in the areas of Educational Objectives, Teaching-Learning Experiences and Evaluation.

2. Recognize group dynamics in classroom teaching and its educational implications.

3. Acquire teaching skills by participating in micro-teaching sessions.

4. Acquire knowledge for initiating educational research projects.

5. Demonstrate a positive attitude towards educational science to effectively contribute to the establishment/strengthening of the Medical Education Unit in their institution.
