Objectives of the Event

To provide an academic platform for the Ph.D. scholar to present the research work before submission of the thesis.

To critically evaluate the scientific work and obtain constructive suggestions from the external expert and faculty members.

To strengthen the thesis in accordance with the guidelines of Adichunchanagiri University prior to final submission.

Brief Report of the Event

The Pre-Thesis Submission Colloquium of Mrs. Johnsi Priya J. was conducted on 15 July 2026 at 2:30 PM in the Medical Education Unit (MEU) Hall, Adichunchanagiri Institute of Medical Sciences, B.G. Nagara, under the Department of Biochemistry. The colloquium was conducted in accordance with the guidelines of Adichunchanagiri University prior to the submission of the Ph.D. thesis.

The presentation was evaluated by Dr. Akila Prashant, Professor and Head, Department of Biochemistry, JSS Medical College, Mysuru, who participated as the external expert through an online meeting. Dr. Akila Prashant critically evaluated the research work and provided valuable scientific suggestions and constructive feedback to strengthen the thesis before its final submission.

The colloquium served as an important academic platform for assessing the quality of the doctoral research, encouraging scientific dialogue, and ensuring compliance with the guidelines of Adichunchanagiri University for Ph.D. thesis submission.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Lavanya B. R., Senior Resident, Department of Biochemistry, AIMS, B.G. Nagara, who expressed sincere gratitude to Dr. Akila Prashant, the Vice Principal and Head of the Department, faculty members, research scholars, and all participants for their valuable contributions and active participation.
