Objectives of the event

To enhance research and proposal writing skills among MBBS students.

* To guide students in STS–ICMR proposal preparation.

* To improve understanding of literature search, methodology, and referencing.

* To encourage undergraduate medical research and scientific thinking.

Brief Report of the Event (in about 200 words)

The program was inaugurated by Dr. Aliya Nusrath & IQAC- AIMS members and witnessed active participation from students and faculty members. Scientific sessions on Introduction Writing, Framing Objectives, Literature Search, Review of Literature, Methodology, References & Implications, Title Writing, and IEC ( Institutional Ethics Committee  ) Protocol were delivered by Dr. Aliya Nusrath, Dr. Varsha G, Dr. Rakshitha H B, Dr. Bhagyashree N, Dr. Raghavendra S K, Dr. Tejaswi H L, Dr. Namitha D, Dr. Ravi GN  and Dr. Ravi shankar M.  A total of 79 MBBS students participated enthusiastically, including 41first-year and 38 second-year MBBS students. The workshop provided practical guidance for preparing STS–ICMR proposals and motivated students towards undergraduate medical research activities. The program concluded with post-test and valedictory session.
