MBBS first year students DANESH MATHAPATI, AMOGH , VEERENDRA and fourth year MBBS STUDENT KRITHIKA have been actively participated. attended the One-Day MedTech Innovation for Medicos Bootcamp organized by Bangalore Bioinnovation Centre (BBC) and K-Tech, Government of Karnataka. The bootcamp was designed to introduce medical students and healthcare professionals to the field of medical technology innovation, entrepreneurship, and healthcare problem-solving The sessions focused on identifying unmet clinical needs, prototype validation, regulatory pathways, intellectual property rights (IPR), patents, and commercialization of healthcare innovations. Experts from the healthcare and innovation sectors shared insights on how innovative ideas can be transformed into practical solutions that improve patient care The event was particularly relevant to my ICMR STS project on digital screen exposure, sleep quality, and cognitive function among young adults, as it enhanced my understanding of research translation, innovation, and evidence-based healthcare. Overall, the bootcamp was a valuable learning experience that broadened my perspective on medical innovation and its role in improving patient care. |
