The first year MBBS Batch of 2025 at Adichunchanagiri Institute of Medical Sciences observed the National Doctors Day on the 1st of July to commemorate the birth and death anniversary of the legendary physician and Former West Bengal Chief Minister, Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy and to honor and express gratitude to the dedicated medical professionals for their service and commitment to healthcare.

The event commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, followed by invocation song creating a respectful and auspicious environment for the celebration.

The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Dr. Aliya Nusrath, Vice principal of AIMS and Head of department, Biochemistry, who addressed the gathering by highlighting the noble responsibilities of a doctor and encouraged the students to uphold the values taught by the esteemed institution.

Dr Tejaswi H L, Head of department, anatomy, who is seamlessly connected to the students and spoke about the future goal of Doctors.

The event was also graced by the faculty of departments of Biochemistry, Anatomy and Physiology, who attended the program enthusiastically.

Adding to the spirit of celebration, the students organized fun and engaging games for the faculty members. The professors participated with enthusiasm. The event concluded on a happy and a memorable note with a heartfelt appreciation for the unwavering dedication by the teaching faculty and medical professionals. The student’s initiative to observe the day was highly applauded and appreciated by all the faculty members.
