Objectives of the Event	To provide an academic platform for the Ph.D. scholar to present the completed research work before submission of the thesis. To critically evaluate the scientific methodology, results, and conclusions of the research. To obtain constructive suggestions and recommendations from the Doctoral Advisory Committee and experts.
Brief Report of the Event	The Ph.D. Pre-Submission Colloquium of Dr. Ajay N (Registration No. 20EMAN01) was conducted on 16 July 2026 at the Medical Education Unit (MEU) Hall in a hybrid mode under the Department of Anatomy, Adichunchanagiri Institute of Medical Sciences. The research scholar presented his doctoral research entitled “Histomorphometric Analysis of Umbilical Cord in Preeclamptic Pregnancies: A Multicentre Study.” The presentation highlighted the background, objectives, methodology, histomorphometric observations, statistical analysis, key findings, discussion, conclusions, and clinical implications of the study. The colloquium was attended by the members of the Doctoral Advisory Committee, faculty members, postgraduate students, research scholars, and invited participants. The committee critically evaluated the research methodology, interpretation of results, and scientific contribution of the study. Constructive suggestions were offered to further strengthen the thesis prior to its final submission. Following a detailed scientific discussion and satisfactory responses to the queries raised, the committee expressed its appreciation for the quality of the research work and recommended the scholar for submission of the Ph.D. thesis in accordance with the regulations of Adichunchanagiri University.
Feedback Analysis	The research topic addressed an important obstetric and anatomical problem. The study design and methodology were scientifically sound. The presentation was well-organized and informative.
Conclusion	The Ph.D. Pre-Submission Colloquium was conducted successfully, fulfilling all academic requirements prescribed under the Ph.D. regulations of Adichunchanagiri University. The Doctoral Advisory Committee acknowledged the scholarly contribution of the research and recommended the thesis for final submission after incorporation of the suggested modifications.
