Brief Report of the Event

The IGNITRA 26 – Cultural Programme for Allied Health Sciences (AHS) and Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) was held on 20th August 2026 at the BGS Auditorium, Adichunchanagiri University. The event was organized by the Adichunchanagiri School of Allied Health Sciences (ASAHS) with the aim of celebrating cultural program (IGNITRA-26).

The programme began with a warm welcome by the organizing committee, followed by the lighting of the lamp, symbolizing knowledge, wisdom and the beginning of a new phase in the students’ lives. The ceremony was graced by faculty members, staff and invited guests who extended their best wishes to the upcoming batch.

Programme Highlights

Welcome Address: Mr. Gautham Krishna, AOT student   addressed the gathering and encouraged their peers to embrace opportunities, uphold ethical values and actively participate in academic and co-curricular activities.

Inaugural address: Dr. Aliya Nusrath, Vice Principal, AIMS, addressed the IGNATHRA cultural programme. emphasized the importance of professionalism, discipline, ethical values, and personal growth, encouraging students to develop responsible attitudes and actively contribute to both academic and co-curricular activities.

Cultural Performances: A series of vibrant cultural performances by junior and senior students added enthusiasm and energy to the event, giving the freshers a glimpse of campus life and fostering a sense of community and belonging.

Feedback Analysis (Brief)

Feedback from students and faculty indicated that the cultural Programme was well-organized and welcoming. Students felt comfortable and appreciated the interactive sessions and cultural performances. Faculty noted that the programme effectively introduced students to the institution’s culture. Overall, the event successfully supported a smooth transition for the new students.
