1. Introduction to SPSS- Educating participants about SPSS, its features, and its applications in data analysis. 2. Hands on training- Providing practical experience with SPSS through guided exercises and real world case studies. 3. Statistical Analysis Techniques- Demonstrating how to use SPSS for various statistical methods, including descriptive statistics , regression, ANOVA, and predictive modeling. 4. Brief Report of event (in about 200 words) |
The workshop was organized by ACU learning resource center and department of community medicine with collaboration of SPSS South Asia Private limited on11th march 2025, from 11:00 am to 1:30pm in MEU HALL, AIMS. The workshop began with a warm welcome address. Guest speaker, Mr. Swarup Ghorai, Statistician at SPSS South Asia Pvt. Ltd., provided expert guidance on utilizing SPSS for research and data-driven decision-making. His session covered key statistical concepts, practical demonstrations, and real-world applications, making complex analyses accessible to all. The primary objectives of the event were discussed about new SPSS software version 3.0 and during the 1st session he explained about data planning, Descriptive statistics, Missing value handle, data visualization, Correlation and parametric statistics and the event aimed to enhance data analysis skills for students, researchers and professionals from various fields. |
