On the occasion of “Eye- Donation Fortnight” under the aegis of KOS and under the guidance of Dr. Niharika Shetty, Professor and Head, Dr. Prakash, Professor and Unit Chief, Dr. Srinivas, Professor, and in the presence of other faculty members, Post graduate and undergraduate students, Nursing students, non-teaching staff, an interdisciplinary session was conducted on 23/09/2024 at AIMS BG NAGARA, which aimed at raising awareness about the importance of eye donation, specifically focusing on corneas to combat blindness and vision impairment. This program served as a beacon of awareness lightening the path to understanding the importance of eye donation and dispelling the myths that surround it. |
