ACU 5th Convocation Ceremony - Adichunchanagiri Institute of Medical Sciences

Adichunchanagiri University, established in 2018, celebrated its 5th Grand Convocation Ceremony on 29th July 2025 at the BGS Auditorium, B.G. Nagara. The event was graced by the Divine Presence of Paramapoojya Jagadguru Sri Sri Sri Dr. Nirmalanandanatha Mahaswamiji, Hon’ble Chancellor of the University .

The welcome address and university report were presented by *Dr. S. N. Sridhara, Vice Chancellor, Adichunchanagiri University.

A total of 1882 graduates received their certificates, including 20 PhD degrees, 27 Gold Medals, 144 Rank Certificates, and 4 Student Endowment Awards. The ceremony was also attended by the Deans of all constituent schools of the University, marking a strong representation of its academic leadership.

The Chief Guest, Dr. S. Somanath, Former Chairman, ISRO and Hon’ble Chancellor of Chanakya University,* congratulated the graduating students and *inspired them to set the highest of goals in life* . He emphasized the importance of *pursuing these goals with determination and immense hard work, while continuing to uphold humility and professional integrity. He encouraged graduates to embrace failures with resilience and pursue success with determination.

The Guest of Honour, Shri N. Cheluvarayaswamy, Hon’ble Minister for Agriculture and Minister In-charge, Mandya District, Karnataka emphasized the advantage of graduating from an university that integrates academic rigor with spiritual and holistic development.

In his *presidential address, Honourable Chancellor called upon graduates to take Dr. Somanath’s life and achievements as an example to strive for excellence.

The 5th Convocation was a grand celebration of academic accomplishments, student success, and the university’s continuous commitment to shaping socially responsible and value-driven professionals.
