The NSS Unit of Adichunchanagiri Institute of Medical Sciences organized a program at Kittur Rani Chennamma Girls School for National Girl Child Day 2024 in collaboration with the Department of Community Medicine. 
 
The objectives were to emphasize the importance of the girl child in society, promote education for girls, address personal hygiene and adolescent health, and motivate academic excellence. The event featured speeches by Dr. Vijay Hugar and Dr. Varsha G, focusing on education and health, and a motivational session by Dr. Shashikiran. Approximately 250 girl students benefited from increased awareness, health education, and motivation for academic pursuits. The event successfully achieved its goals, contributing to the holistic development of the participating students.
