*Exploring Science: A Journey Through IISc’s Open Day*
Sixty MBBS students from Adichunchanagiri Institute of Medical Sciences, Adichunchanagiri University, embarked on a visit to the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) in Bengaluru on the occasion of its “Open Day” held on 24th February 2024. The primary objective of the visit was to provide students with exposure to the diverse range of science and technology activities conducted by the esteemed institute.
During their visit, the students had the opportunity to engage in various enriching activities, including attending lectures, viewing posters, participating in experimental demonstrations, and taking part in quizzes. The visit proved to be a scientific extravaganza, allowing the students to immerse themselves in the world of science and technology and gain valuable insights into cutting-edge research and innovation.
As a result of their participation in the “Open Day” at IISc, the students experienced first-hand the breadth and depth of scientific endeavours undertaken at the institute. The visit not only broadened their horizons but also inspired them to pursue excellence in their academic and professional pursuits, fostering a deeper appreciation for the role of science and technology in addressing societal challenges and advancing human knowledge.
