Observance of “ International Mother Language Day “ – 2024 at AIMS

“ International Mother Language Day “was observed by Kannada Balaga in association with NSS unit AIMS on 21st February, 2024. On this occasion inaugural ceremony of Kannada language classes for non kannadiga postgraduates was organised at the MEU hall. The program had the objectives of providing local language learning opportunities for the future specialist doctors who will benefit in managing and communicating with patients and their family members. postgraduates from different states participated in the event.

Dr. Mahendrappa.K.B, President of Kannada Balaga, Dr. Vinay.H.R, secretary, Kannada Balaga, Dr. Vijay S Hugar, Coordinator, NSS unit and other kannada balaga members were present coordinating the event.

Dr. Shivaramu.M.G, Principal, AIMS appreciated the initiative and encouraged the team to continue conducting periodic sessions to achieve the goal.
