Objectives of the event |
Participants will take part in: ● Protocol presentation: ● Hackathon presentation:An innovative challenge to medical undergraduates and interns to design practical scalable solutions to real world healthcare problems. Of the 109 applicants we are proud to be shortlisted among the 7 selected to present. ● Quiz: A high-stake quiz spanning across all 19 subjects of the current mbbs curriculum. ● Research masterclass: ● Faculty masterclass: decode the deficit a masterclass on stroke localization by Dr.Archith Boloor . ● Faculty masterclass: a ticking abdomen masterclass on approaching acute abdomen by Dr Sriram Bhat. ● Workshops: ● the weak link : interactive academic workshop designed to help students understand and analyse weakness using a structured, anatomy-based framework. ● Access Thorax: Step into the high-stakes world of emergency thoracic access and master the life-saving techniques of needle thoracostomy and tube thoracostomy in this immersive, skill-driven experience. ● Red line code trauma :Step into a high-intensity, hands-on Orthopedic Trauma Workshop built to train you for real-world trauma- head to toe, start to finish. ● E.R. Unplugged :An immersive, hands-on emergency medicine workshop crafted to equip participants with the essential knowledge and practical skills required to manage acute medical emergencies with confident and composure. The program blends concise, focused teaching sessions with structured skill-based training, recreating real-time emergency scenarios to provide a dynamic and practical learning experience.

Brief Report of the Event |
Three students from Adichunchanagiri Institute of Medical Sciences, B.G. Nagara actively participated in the event gaining exposure in fields of medical studies.

PROTOCOL PRESENTATION: Mr. Kishan Kumar Sagar, presented an protocol that was selected among 100 abstracts and presented in the event . He won an special mention for the protocol presentation.
HACKATHON: We the students of adichunchanagiri were very pleased to present our hackathon concept in front of an esteemed panel of researchers and medical professions after being shortlisted within 8 among 109 submitted abstracts. The event was a closed door event where our concept was critically appraised and various inputs were imparted .
QUIZ: The quiz included questions spanning over 19 subjects of the medical curriculum. While we weren’t able to qualify for the top 5 teams among 50 teams we certainly have gained an enlightment on the present existing challenges and the fierce competition among the future medical fraternity. Such has helped us identify our areas of improvement and we will continue to refine our skills.
WORKSHOP: We gained a lots of hands-on practice and clinical knowledge in these sessions.

Feedback Analysis (Brief)
|
• Participants appreciated the balance between theory and practical demonstrations. • The Keynote speeches on research, its importance and the methods of appraisal of scientific literature have been very much informative and enlightening to the students. • The various workshops organized for the students have further piqued our interest in academics and inspired us to deepen our knowledge. • One of the main takeaways from the event is the importance and need of collaboration within the medical fraternity in order to advance further. Our institute has always endorsed and promoted this value though the aims alumni network creation and this event has further reinforced the significance.
