Adichunchanagiri Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS), Adichunchanagiri University, proudly congratulates Ms. Chaitra C., Phase III Part II MBBS student, on receiving the prestigious “Prof. G. B. Shivaraju – Best NSS Volunteer State Award 2026” in recognition of her outstanding contributions to community service and social responsibility.

The award was conferred on 2 October 2026, commemorating Gandhi Jayanti and the International Day of Non-Violence, at a state-level ceremony organized by the Karnataka Gandhi Smaraka Nidhi at Gandhi Bhavan, Kumara Park East, Bengaluru.

Ms. Chaitra C. received the award in the presence of Shri D. K. Shivakumar, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka, Shri H. K. Patil, Hon’ble Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs, and distinguished dignitaries, including Dr. Wooday P. Krishna, President, and Shri M. C. Narendra, Honorary Secretary, Karnataka Gandhi Smaraka Nidhi.

This remarkable achievement reflects Ms. Chaitra’s dedication to volunteerism, community engagement, and humanitarian values. Her recognition exemplifies the institution’s commitment to holistic medical education, nurturing future healthcare professionals who demonstrate academic excellence, compassion, leadership, and social responsibility.
