Brief Report of the Event (in about 200 words)

I attended EREVNA 4.0 – the 4th National Undergraduate Health Sciences Research Conference conducted by KMC Mangalore. The conference provided an excellent platform for learning, research exposure, and academic interaction with experts and fellow students from various health science disciplines.

During the conference, myself  Mr.Shreyas Patil, MBBS Phase-III, part-2, had attended a Surgical Masterclass conducted by Dr. Sri Ram Bhat, which offered valuable insights into surgical principles, clinical decision-making, and advancements in surgical practice. I also participated in a Radiology Workshop on CT Cisternography, where I gained knowledge about the technique, indications, and clinical applications of this specialized imaging modality. In addition, I attended a Research Masterclass that enhanced my understanding of research methodology, scientific writing, and evidence-based medicine.

A significant highlight of the conference was the presentation of my poster titled “Pressure to PRES: Posterior Reversible Encephalopathy Syndrome with Intra-Uterine Fetal Demise – A Catastrophic Cascade of Pre-eclampsia.” This experience improved my scientific communication and presentation skills while allowing me to engage in meaningful discussions with faculty members and peers.

Overall, the conference was highly informative and enriching, strengthening my interest in clinical research and contributing to my academic and professional development.
